This has to be my favorite Kitty book, if reading from the beginning and working your way through the series. THIS is where Kitty comes into her own. Yay, Kitty!!! (where's my cheerleader emoticon when I need it?)
Kitty returns to Denver because her mother is sick. Scared of the pack's reaction, she hides out at Ben's condo. When she's caught in the middle of a war between two vamp camps (ha ha, you don't know how hard it is to not type "vampy" right there), she wants to turn tail and run. She just wants to be left alone, so that she can be by her family.
Of course, what Kitty wants is not what Kitty gets. Par for the course, eh? So what does Kitty do? Why, grow some spine to go with the fur. She stands up for herself, for her right to be by those important to her, for the weaker werewolves in the Denver pack... And while she does have to use ass-kicking as a last resort, she tempers it with a liberal dose of caring and diplomacy.
Loved this. Go read it. Don't have it? Read on, or click on the cover to purchase your very own copy on Amazon.

Vamps. I don't know what it is about vampires but I absolutely love them. I wouldn't mind being a shifter though. Being able to change at any moment would have it's advantages...
I'm a follower.
I haven't read any of this series yet but it is one I would really like to start.
Vamps or Shifters? Hmm... that is a tough one. I love Ivy (vamp) in Kim Harrison's books but I also really like Mercy (shifter, sort of) in Patricia Briggs' books and Elena (shifter) in Kelley Armstrong's books so I guess I'll go shifter. Both are just so much fun to read about though.
I follow as well.
Vamps, definitely. I love vampires. Shifters are cool, but for some reason they pale in comparison to vampires. So, yeah, vamps all the way.
I love vampires, any stories, movies, mini-series, series, anything to do with vampires. I just love them. It started with, I even hate to admit it, but Buffy the Vampire Slayer, watching that with my daughter. I love the Blade movies, just awesome. I just want to absorb anything there is to about vampires. Thanks for this awesome giveaway.
I am a definite follower of this blog.
Shifters!! Vampires just don't do it for me...maybe because I'm older! ( But I haven't read a Kitty book maybe I'll switch over!)LOL
That's a tough one. I enjoy stories with both shifters and vamps. I don't think I can choose one over the other. I absolutely love The Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. I really want to read the Kitty series too.
I follow.
This has been posted on Win A Book. No need to enter me.
Shifters. Definitely. There's just something cool about getting to be two things at once, getting to live in two different worlds in two different bodies.
Hi Drey. I've given you an award! come and pick it up.
I would say vamps. I'm in the middle of new story right now that has me totally engrossed.
I follow
Do I get to be a shifter cat? I like kitties...Just get me one big litter box! Ha ha. I only want to be a vamp if I can be a sexy vamp - no weird face turning, please. But then, if I get all the time in the world - bring on the night classes - I can learn it all!
I would have to go with shifters. It's not personal, vamps, I just kinda prefer the living. ;)
I like shifters better because they can walk in daylight.
I'm following you.
I have to go with shifters. They can mainly live their normal lives but have the extra bennies. I'm a follower.
For sure Vamps...who else could make me wear my cross and hang garlic as a kid when I would see a vampire movie at the drive in?? I already follow. Thanks for a chance to win!
Vampires! No creature can rank higher than a vampire in my opinion.
I follow!
Oh, and I blogged:

Shifters. =)
And I follow.
I blogged about this at:

Love the Vamps! Since I was little, I have had a strange fascination with them.

I guess I will have to say vamps. I have been crazy about them since I was a small child. I think I have also dressed up as a vampire more than any other costume for Halloween. This would be a great read for me. Please enter me!

Oh yeah, I am a complete follower too. My mom always told me not to be a follower, but sometimes you got to ignore that mom voice. ;)

I'm kind of into shapeshifters at the moment :)
I FOLLOW!! :D
I love Vampires, but due to an English show I have recently been watching, I now have a new appreciation for Lykens, or Shifters. I think they make a great story.
Thank you for the entry.

Shifters are fascinating and have more variety than the vamps/
Love vampires. I follow. house_mouse88 at yahoo dot com
I tend to prefer vamps but then I haven't read as many books about shifters so that may have something to do with my preference. I'd be willing to be persuaded :-)
vmlay@artsci.wustl.edu
Guess I have to go towards shifters.
roylsue@telpage.net
Shifters -- they are out running in nature and experiencing the world around them -- and a bit hunky.
Hi again Drey!
Almost missed this contest too! I love Kitty books!
