drey's TBR pile...

January 2, 2010
Ok. Maybe if I publish this list, I will actually make headway in getting these read. I apologize for my tardiness to the publishers, publicists, and authors who've been waiting patiently for my review. I let 2009 get away from me, and did not place a high enough priority on these, as they should've deserved. I will do my very best to get these done in the first quarter of 2010.

  30. Worst Case by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge
  31. The Wife's Tale by Lori Lansens
I requested each and every one of the above, which makes it even worse that I never got around to reading & reviewing them. Well, some were started, and some actually completed, but that doesn't matter, does it?

The rest of my TBR pile are books that I've won, that are just waiting for their turn. I honestly don't know what's taken me so long. I know these are books that I'd like, I've just put them at the bottom of the pile because nobody's expecting or waiting for these reviews. But good books shouldn't just be laying about, they should be read. So here's a list of those, too, so that I get them read!
  1. Gardens of Water by Alan Drew
  2. Sweet Mary by Liz Balmaseda
  3. Vanished by Joseph Finder

This is so funny. I was just getting ready to do a post like yours. I need to write some titles down -commit to my "read my own books" resolution. You've given me the nudge I need.
Also want to add that I hear Supreme Courtship is hilarious and on some "2009 favorites" lists. Good luck with your reading!

Lol, Mary... It was high time I did it, and I rearranged my TBR shelves, so it was the perfect moment to capture the titles... =)

Kathy~ That's what I thought last year, too, and see what it left me... =P

There looks like there is a lot of great books on that list. Good luck with getting to them this year :)

I have a similar list of my TBR and I'm finding it really motivates me to get them read.

LOL. I had a list like this on my blog but took it down because I was buying so much I couldn't keep it updated and I noticed I was making my way through any of the books!

I have a lot of the same books in my pile as your to review pile. Good luck!

I have found that my weekly TBR pile updates is helping to motivate me now.
