drey's thoughts:
Anna and the French Kiss is a lovely story about a girl who meets a boy and how their friendship evolves into something more. Of course, this being set in a high school (even if it is in Paris), there's the requisite angst and my-friend-also-likes-the-same-boy drama. Not that it's drowning in angst and drama, because if that were the case I wouldn't have liked it as much as I did.
I liked the cast of characters in Anna and the French Kiss, especially Anna. She's bright, funny, and nice. Etienne is witty and charming, and such a romantic. The two make a lovely couple, if only they could just get to the point where they were a couple. Then again, if it was that easy, this would be a novella instead of a heartwarming romantic read.
drey's rating: Excellent! Add it to your summer reading if you like a good boy-meets-girl story.

I really liked this one too! I remember thinking how crazy she was to not be sure about going to boarding school her senior year...it's Paris! But then again, it was her senior year. I also thought her affinity for film was an interesting side story.
I grabbed this for my Kindle when it was free, so I'm glad to see you enjoyed it so much!
lol Julia--I had that same thought! The heck with senior year, this is PARIS we're talking about!! :P
Kathy--it was free?? I'm totally jealous! :)
this is one of those books that I hadn't heard anything about and just randomly picked up... HA! Just kidding. Nearly EVERY ONE of my bookish friends (and I am not exaggerating when I say that) has been raving about this book. It is totally my kind of book; I just could never find the time to read it. Foolish, foolish girl! I should have made time sooner. Who needs sleep! Work? Overrated. Seriously. If you've been meaning to read this one do it and do it now.
