First of all, thank you so much for coming by. I really do appreciate that you take time out of your day to swing by and read what I post. I had asked about multiple entries for giveaways on my blogoversary post, and based on the response, I'm going to make some changes to the giveaways that I hold. Hopefully this isn't going to annoy or alienate any, some, or even all of you! Note that these changes will take effect January 1st, 2010.
Change #1: Giveaways are for followers only.
I'm "borrowing" this from J.Kaye. To enter the giveaways, you must have drey's library listed under the blogs you follow. See below:
Don't worry too much about this--most of you are already set up correctly. Just take a few moments to verify that drey's library does show up under the blogs you follow. The easiest way to do that is to click on yourself on a comment and check your profile page.

Change #2: The only extra entries will be for sharing.
Because giveaways are now for followers only, there will be no extra entries for following. So. Sharing will give you 1 extra entry for every share.
Updated 12/20: I have decided to give embedded Google Forms a try with my giveaways. Hopefully that'll clean things up quite a bit. So, don't worry about all the comments, etc., just fill out the form. And the comment form will be for actual comments. *grin*
I'm making these changes to make it easier for me to manage the giveaway entries. Currently I pull everything into a spreadsheet, and manually make sure everyone has the correct number of entries based on what they've done. These changes should let me skip that step, and go straight to picking a winner.
I hope none of these changes make it too terribly difficult for you to keep swinging 'round. If it will, let me know, and let's see if there's something we can do about it.

I think I am all set for your new rules to be put in place for giveaways. You can stop holding your breath. Although that is a very cute image for me to hold on to just now. You never fail to make laugh when I need one. It was no problem for me to update my Blogger account. I think your blog name was already there but I needed to make sure.

I totally understand your rule changes, unfortunately I guess it'll leave me out though. I don't follow anyone on Blogger. I use Google Reader solely, but I'll still stop by. I enjoy your reviews.
The changes make sense. My profile doesn't show who I follow, but my blog does. Would that count?
