Awesome giveaway. Please enter me. Thanks.

This summer I'll be reading "Home" by Marilynne Robinson. I hope it's good. I'll probably throw in a few cozy mysteries or a chick-lit or two.

My favourite beach activity? Reading. Is there something else you can do at the beach? ;)

I follow your blog via Blogger's follow function.

[Wondering if all of these should be in separate comments?]

I love reading murder mysteries. Today I was sitting under the hot sun getting burnt and reading At Bertram's Hotel by Agatha Christie.

I admit I do think tanning is my favorite beach activity, but I do it more because of my feline nature. I just love being under a hot warming sun; smelling the sunscreen that glittering on my arm. I love the feeling of soft white sand in between my fingers and toes. And I love the feeling of the hot sand underneath my beach towel. The sound of the ocean waves of course completes the perfect situation. Is it obvious that I love summer?

anything that will keep me occupied while the boys are teaching scuba diving.

beach read, tho fun can be dangerous as you get into the book and forget where you are and the sun moves but you don't and then next thing you know, you are having trouble read because the sun is setting. that is when you also become aware of pain because you didn't reapply more sun screen and you are now losbstered in spots. so maybe i will read them in a screened in porch.

Favorite beach activity? I'm afraid of the water and I don't like the heat or the sticky sand. ;) I do enjoy reading on the deck of a cruise ship and looking at the water.

My favorite beach read? Something that takes me
away & involves me in the plot. Mysteries do that, giving me a puzzle to try & solve before
the author does. I loved Jan Karon's books about
Father Tim & wish there was such a town where
people really cared so much about one another.
