drey's thoughts:
Truthseeker is the latest offering from C.E. Murphy, and is part of a new duology filled with faeries, magic, time travel, and treachery.

Lara Jensen is a tailor who just happens to know when you tell the truth. You'd think that this is a handy thing to have, but it's just a pain in her you-know-what. After all, how much fun can it be to know when people aren't being honest with you?

Then she meets David, or Daffydd ap Caerwyn, a Seelie prince who's been searching for a Truthseeker for close to a hundred years. The lucky guy convinces Lara to help him find out who killed his brother, but when they get to Faerie, all hell breaks loose. In a race against time, Lara and David have to find and stop the mastermind who's trying to embroil Faerie and Earth in war. If they can survive long enough to do so.

Truthseeker is addicting from the moment you crack open the cover. Its fast-paced action has you spinning as you try to keep up with Lara and David, and while I wasn't so sure why Lara agrees to help him, I'm glad she does. I guess not all princes of Faerie are s.o.b.s. I loved the characters, and the story. A thrilling adventure from one of my favorite authors. Now I'm back to waiting for more. *sigh*
