January 3, 2010
I've been seeing lists everywhere! Ok, so maybe not quite everywhere... So I thought I ought to pull this one and put it in its own post... These are the books that I enjoyed reading in 2009, in no particular order. Organized by series and single books.

2009 single books:
  1. People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks
  2. Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott
  3. Bone Crossed by Patricia Briggs
  4. Into the Beautiful North by Luis Alberto Urrea
  5. 20 Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler
  6. The City and the City by China Mieville
  7. Shanghai Girls by Lisa See
  8. The Girl She Used to Be by David Cristofano
  9. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
  10. The Return by Victoria Hislop
2009 Series:
  1. Fever by Karen Marie Moning
  2. Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine
  3. The First Law by Joe Abercrombie

I read a couple on your list. The one that makes me smile when I see the title is The Girl She Used to Be. I really liked that book!
Happy New Year!

Nice list! I've only read 2 of the books, but have 3 others in my TBR pile.
