Simon Tofield's animations have taken YouTube by storm. Now, the feline Internet phenomenon makes his way onto the page in this first-ever book based on the popular animated series. SIMON'S CAT depicts and exaggerates the hilarious relationship between a man and his cat. The daily escapades of this adorable pet, which always involve demanding more food, and his exasperated but doting owner come to life through Tofield's charming and hilarious illustrations.
drey's thoughts:
I've never tried to review an "art" book before. But I wanted to give this one a try. Mostly because the YouTube animations are hilarious... And I wasn't disappointed--the illustrations are just as hilarious as the animations.
I can see Simon's cat hunting birds, or teasing them. Or messing with the fish. Or getting the dog in trouble. Licking the frozen birdbath. Words are quite unnecessary in this edition. After all, who needs words when you have a cat? This is a lovely book for all the cat fans out there. *grin*

I agree, Simon's Cat is hilarious, especially if you are a cat owner because you know that this particular cat is just a fusion of all the cats out there. I would catch myself saying, 'Oh, yeah, my cat does that too!".
I think Simon's cat must be related to my father-in-law's cat. I'll be looking out for this book.
I'm a dog person, but think this book looks like loads of fun! Great review!
