Good morning, everybody!! June is my birthday month, and to celebrate I thought I'd do a lil' something for y'all... Are you interested? Hmm? *grin*I have 12 books to give away this month. Every 8th day I will pick a winner, who will tell me which 3 books he/she wants. This means that 4 winners will receive 3 books during the month of June. Some of these are sets, some are stand-alone. I am listing 6 books this week, and 3 each for the next 2 weeks.

My favorite part about birthdays is the surprises! I just love being surprised. Even when I was a kid, I never tried to find my Christmas presents early. I wanted to be surprised!

My favorite part of birthdays is getting to choose where to eat out that night! I know, it's silly, but I'm so passive about things that I always let others choose where to go whenever I go out to eat with people. But on my bday, it's my choice and if they don't like it TOO BAD lol

Happy birthday month. What do I love about birthdays - anything special - don't do it so much for adults in our household but our DS gets pretty spoiled - his birthday is tomorrow and so far he has gone to a local amusement place, taking cupcakes to school today and then tomorrow night at scouts. I love doing extra special things to make him feel good - made smores the other night and I think I will get a few balloons for him tomorrow in addition to his choice of where we eat or what I make for dinner and tons of presents.

It's my birthday month too! (a few more days) For the last 20 years the thing I enjoy most about my birthday is getting hand made card from my son. It's getting so much harder to convince him to make them but I keep and cherish them all.

I love the candles! As we've gotten older, we are very creative in putting the ages on the cake. Sometimes they burn down a little too far as everyone tries to figure it out.

My favorite part about my birthday which is also in June would be the birthday cake. My mother used to bake me a red velvet cake each year, but she passed away in 2002. I am just happy that I have lived another year with all of the medical problems that I have and hope to get a call from my daughter and grandson.
