I LOVE THE GALS AT HACHETTE!
Alright, with that on the record... Let's get to the good stuff, shall we?
drey's library proudly presents (courtesy of Hachette Book Group, without whom I'd be scrounging 'round my shelves) the SPRING-Y MADNESS giveaway. Five winners will each receive the following (yes, all of 'em!):

(heh, the Mr. SO NEEDS THIS book!)

(eh, who am I kidding? I need this!)
And now, presenting the rules:
This giveaway will run till 10:00pm on March 31st, and is open to US & Canada residents only. Sorry, no P.O. Boxes - HBG rules.
To enter, share a Spring-y thought... I like Spring. Don't love it, that's for Summer. But if it's Spring, then Summer's not too far off. (unless you live in Wisconsin, where Spring can somehow hand over the reins to Winter for a bit) Followers get an extra entry. Comment & let me know. Two extra entries for sharing this with the WORLD! =P Comment with the link to your actual post.
And don't forget to come back & find out if you've won. Winners will have 3 days to get me their mailing info, after which I'll draw a replacement. If I have an email address, I can follow up if I don't hear from you, but if not...
And as usual, check out the fabulous West of Mars -- Win a Book for more Spring-y Madness (my term, not Hachette's or anyone else's!) giveaways... That's it. Have at it! =)

I close my eyes and I see the purple crocus pushing her beautiful head up through the melting snow. The sun is shining brightly and Mother Earth is waking from her slumber.
I love Spring!

I can't wait for Spring. We had so much snow this year and frankly, I am sick of winter driving! I want the snow to melt and then I can plant some flowers.
A springy thought, well the snowdrops are up and we drove through the park down by the beach yesterday and some daffodils were in bloom. There were also a ton'o people walking their dogs at the waterfront!
Pretty springy!!
Thanks for another great giveaway!

I too am in Wisconsin. Madison to be exact. We did have an ice storm last night but it all melted and you could see the grass again. Spring smells clean and fresh a new day to come.

To me the best thing about spring is the tulips, daffidils and crocuses peeking up through the snow, giving us the hope of warm weather to come.

My favorite spring flower--lilacs.
Don't think I'll see any for awhile though.
Wow! Another great giveaway! After being stuck in the house for most of the cold winter, I really enjoy being able to spend more time outdoors in the spring.

Spring is the perfect time to start enjoying porch swings, after a long cold winter. Crisp, fresh air and better yet - no heavy, bulky coat!

Snow two weeks ago, a week below 30 and highs near 80 today. Spring must be around the corner, as the fruit trees are starting to show buds and even an open flower or two.

I love spring. Not only does it bring warmer weather to Oklahoma it also brings the thunderstorms. I love to listen to the rain and thunder, especially at night when I can get all snuggled up in bed. :0) I also love all the daffodils. My mom has them planted all around her house. When I was little, I'd wait for the first ones to bloom and then I'd pick them all and "surprise" her with them. Now I've taught my niece to do the same thing. She loves it.
Thanks!
I subscribe with Google Reader...does that count as following?
Spring-y Madness for me means cleaning, watching the green shoots pushing through the soil, and listening to the Robin's in the morning. Don't ya love spring, so glad winter is going to give up the ghost!

I'm also a follower and posted a blog under A Ginormus Giveaway At Drey's Library on my blog.
It's been in the 80's here in SC for the past few days. The dogwood trees are starting to bud. It's my favorite time of the year.

I love spring because it starts to warm up. I am always cold so any hint of warmer weather is wonderful!
I follow also.
I like Spring because of all the flowers that bloom and daylight starts getting longer. Don't like it because it means summer is coming.
I love spring! It means we are getting away from the cold weather, which I don't like, and hopefully will start seeing things green up!
I follow too. :)
Great giveaway! I've posted this on Win a Book. Don't enter us.
I live in the South, and I think spring may already be here. The trees are budding, and I have flowers blooming. It has been around 80 degrees here, and I'm so glad. We had a snow storm on March 1st., and got 4 inches of snow. I love this time of year when the flowers bloom, it's so pretty.

Spring is fantastic because it's finally not winter - things start to grow, and you can open your windows - even if for only a little while - to get some fresh air, and get rid of the stale air in our houses and cars. It's wonderful.
Oh, to be somewhere where the flowers are already budding! Here's it's just wet & sloppy. Who knows if another snowstorm's headed this way yet this season? *sigh* Oh well. Good thing we haven't put away the snow boots. =)
springy thought huh ok lets get corny roses are red violets are blue springs almost here i am thrilled how about you thanks for the giveaway
I'm in Chicago and spring isn't really spring until May or so. Spring to me means travel baseball and lots and lots of games

Today I stepped out on the back porch and was surrounded by a symphony of bird song. Spring has definately arrived in the foothills of WV. asthenight at gmail dot com
Spring is my favorite season, not too cold, not too hot. I love the flowers peeking out.
I love spring, especially this spring. I'm in a new neighborhood, far away from the pesky mockingbird that has driven me crazy for years -- during mating season (spring) mockingbirds call all night long. And what did this use for its call? (Remember, it's a mockingbird.) A car alarm! Can you believe it!?! The kind of alarm that has 5 or 6 alternating sounds. All night long! All. Night. Long!! O.K. That was then. This is now. No mockingbird in my new neighborhood. Yay! Thanks for the chance to win these books - its a fabulous collection!

I love spring. We live where winter seems to go on and on and when spring finally arrives, we just love it so much.
I love spring, especially after the long winter we've just had. I love when the daffodils start to come up because then I know spring is not far off -- yhea! And the Robins and other birds are hanging out in the yard. And I can send the kids outside to play and get them out from under my feet for a while :-)

I'm in Michigan and the last few springs have felt more like winter. Lots of rain but still cold, ugh! I do love when the grass starts turning green & the flowers start popping up. I also always feel hopeful that summer is just around the corner!
I love Spring. I love being able to open my windows. I love hanging out my laundry. I love going for walks. I love not having to wear a bulky coat! Best of all is Easter. I love jelly beans and chocolate bunnies!!! :) Can you tell that I really love Spring?

Happy Almost Spring! Spring means baseball to our family. The gardener in me enjoys the green of my
crocus, daffodils and tulips beginning to peep out of the ground! Spring is being able to open the windows for fresh air to breeze through our home. It means fun walks to the park and having a picnic. Thanks, Cindi

I live in Indiana where it's not too snowy or cold now. Actually we've had a few days of decent weather that has made me think of spring.
I love spring where it's getting warm but not yet too hot and where everything is in it's rebirth stage. Flowers are popping through the soil and trees are budding out. I love to walk around my yard every day and see what new things are blooming.
Live in Phoenix, Spring is a warmer winter here. It is the stepping stone to triple digit temperatures.
I love the flowers in Spring.
Thanks for the giveaway!

I adore spring. Unfortunately, here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada it looks like a long way off. This morning it was -36C with the wind chill. Brrrr....
Anyway, that is not stopping me from spring cleaning. We are moving in a few weeks, so it's a perfect time. I could sure use these books. ;) Please enter me.
I follow your blog via Blogger's follow function. Thanks.
Spring is my favorite time of year. The world smells fresh & new after a good spring rain and shortly afterwards the tulips & daffodils start to show up.

I love spring - we had a teaser 2 days recently and it went up to 60. I was so excited to get out in the warm weather. My sinus' loved it too. I spent the day heavily medicated with a heating pad on my face - yeah, I love spring.

I like Spring....the flowers are in bloom, baby birds are chirping and the local marching band at practicing the art of their music!
Spring to me means less pain. I live with a chronic pain condition that HATES COLD WEATHER!!!
Spring = flowers, birds singing, kids making music to me ears and less pain to enjoy it all!
Spring-y thought - I actually enjoy spring cleaning very much, especially cleaning all my bookshelves and remembering about books I completely forgot about.

Oh, my goodness... all five... I was trying to pick out my favorite... thanks...Spring is teasing us here in Pennsylvania... here to day and tomorrow winter comes back... I am loving the warmer weather, though. Now if the flowers would start popping their little heads up.. It would truly be Spring.
I love spring... everything starts blooming, colors start soft and then turn bright... air smells fresh... AND THEN... the POLLEN starts...aarrgghh!.... then I hate sneezing, nose dripping, dry cough... but still enjoy the warmer weather...
Ah, to be snow free in Spring! I thought it would never happen!

I love spring for like you it leads to summer ...yet for me spring represents all things "new", ie: puppies, kittens, grass, flowers, etc.
I dislike spring for all the dust the cleaning stirs up.......ugh!
Thanks so much

Even though I can't go out in the yard because it's a giant mud pit - I can see the crocuses in the back popping up in little yellow, white and purple splotches and it makes me want to risk going outside.
The Spring is what we live for here in Miami. It's the only time of the year where you can shut off the a/c and open a window and feel a light cool breeze. It's dry and in the 70's during the day and at night it can be down right cold in the 60's. it's lovely. The rest of the year, it's smothering humid heat, the dreaded rainy season and hurricanes. And always fridge a/c's running where ever you go. Spring is the best time to go to the beach!
I love the yellow daffodils and the occasional snow storm followed by an 80 degree day!
The first of the daffodils opened today and my little granddaughter brought one in for me.
Today was the first day we went to the bus stop without a coat! Yeah - that's spring-y! Please enter me in the drawing for these fabulous books!

Neighbors come outside in spring and exchange pleasantries they've saved up all winter. I love spring for walking around the block and seeing what's new and who's spiffing what up.
I would love to win and read all five of these books.... please pick me... and email me if I win...

Spring is my absolute favourite time of year...with the smell of new grass, new growth and seeing the birds coming back to the feeders. I absolutely love being able to get away with wearing a light sweater during the day, sandels on my feet and not too hot!

For me, spring only means one thing--allergies. I mean, I live in Washington and even though today is the first day of spring, it's still cold outside. Yesterday it rained too.. The only thing I like about spring is that it means we are one bit closer to summer! :D And it (usually) means that there will be no more snow! Yaaaaay.
Except last week it snowed, so I'm not sure about it.

My husband and I consider the first day of spring to be the day the scouts (usually three of them) come back to nest in our two purple martin homes that are situated down at the lake front. We can hardly wait to see them fly in usually just toward the end of March, probably the day this giveaway ends. Now that is what I like about spring.
roylsue@telpage.net
I like spring. Here in the Napa wine country the mustard is in full bloom, the lupine has it's glorious purple patches on the hillsides. The temperatures are perfect for strolling outdoors.
i love when all the tulips come out
Spring is new beginnings.

Hi
Spring really does make me a little crazy. I just want to get outside and do more...more of everything. I love the puddles, the birds, the chipmunks chirping, and the children squealing. I just can never get enough and guess what the snow is finally melting. It's finally here.
God bless.
And Cheers

I have a love-hate relationship with spring. I really dislike rain, but I get happy that it means summer is around the corner!

I would love to do some spring cleaning and these books might teach me how to do a good job!
Hmmm. Spring-y thoughts? Flowers, birds, bees, sunshine. The rain starts around here in late spring/early summer.
Now that I have a house and my own yard, I will be doing lots of gardening in spring, cleaning up dead debris, pruning, fertilizing, etc.
I would LOVE to have these, I am a clean freak, lol..
I don't really love spring, it makes me wish that someone would have invented windshield wipers for my eyes and I wish I were one of those magicians who can just keep pulling a never ending kleenex out of my arm sleeve. Now, if we want to talk about summer, I love it! I am all about the heat baby!
